''Disney's Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular'' is a musical show with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, that plays at Disney California Adventure. Inspired by Disney's 1992 animated film, the show premiered on January 16, 2003, and plays inside Hyperion Theater in Hollywood Land. The venue is located next to the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. In September 2015 it was announced that the show will be closing on January 10, 2016, to be replaced by a ''Frozen''-inspired musical stage show. ==History== The production is a Broadway-type show. Many of the classic scenes and songs from the movie are re-created on stage and some of the action even spills out into the aisles, like Prince Ali's jubilant arrival in Agrabah on elephant back. Flying carpets, magic lamps, wise-cracking genies, princesses, and evil wizards - are all a part of this musical production. This 45 minute production takes place in the 2,000 seat Hyperion Theater,〔http://www.pfeifferpartners.com/project_detail.php?id=176〕 located at the end of Hollywood Blvd. The exterior has design features reminiscent of many classic theaters. Alan Menken composed and wrote lyrics for a new song for this production, called ''To Be Free''. While much of the show is scripted, the dialogue of the Genie constantly changes to reflect current events in popular culture and the news. When Disney California Adventure first opened in 2001, an original Disney musical called ''Disney's Steps in Time'' was on stage at the Hyperion. Later that year, a scaled-down version of the musical ''Blast!'' premiered in the theater. Starting in 2012, a version of the musical is also presented at the Walt Disney Theatre on Disney Cruise Line's ''Disney Fantasy''. In September 2015 it was announced that the show at Disney California Adventure will be closing on January 10, 2016, to be replaced by a ''Frozen''-inspired musical stage show.〔 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Disney's Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
